We were in the market for a new refrigerator and dutch oven. After purchasing our first Whirlpool product 5 years ago and experiencing outstanding performance and reliability from this dishwasher we decided to select more Whirlpool products. Just recently both appliances were used to serve a family gathering of 30 family members. The refrigerator with its easy to use features, adjustable shelves and large capacity exceeded our needs and expectation. For the first time we were able to have two full capacity ovens that would enable all dishes to be completed at the same time by using the integrated control and timing programs in an easy to use control system.

Overall I like the refrigerator and it works great. I bought it online and didn't view it in person and was dismayed that it does NOT have a butter dish. Even the cheaper Whirlpool model have them molded into the door. Not sure why this model omitted it.

I purchased my new refrigerator from Home Depot they beat the price on every other store delivery was quick and easy and I have a ton of space in the refrigerator and freezer side for all my food products

Fresh flow air filter missing- styrofoam is in it. Never installed nor informed. Cannot remove the Styrofoam if I did buy a filter. I looked due to a rattling noise that seems to come from this area.

Had to call for service after installation because there was no air filter in the Fresh Flow system. It sounded like a model T Ford running down the road. New Fresh Flow unit with filter fixed the problem. Also had to have installers back out to level the side-by-side doors.
I had to adjust the factory recommended temperature settings over the next week or so because the freezer was too cold that the ice maker was not working properly and the eggs in the refrigerator froze. We bought a thermometer to finally get the temps set in the freezer and the frig so everything seems to be operating properly. Freezer is now set at 5 degrees and frig is set at 38 degrees
We really like the style and fit of the Side by side counter depth refrigerator/freezer. The look of the black stainless finish is nice and shows almost no fingerprints

We've owned this fridge less than a year and it's been a disaster. Things in our fridge freeze solid for no reason. We've had repairmen out several times to no avail. Overall it just feels very cheap and has proved to be a complete waste of money.

I bought this on sale about the 4th. Counter depth model. Prices have come down a lot in the past 5 years. Energy efficient and as such runs more than the last on (counter-intuitive, I know). Not as quiet as I would like. My dishwasher is 43 db and the new frig is louder but it is not distracting. New color is nice. Sort of a soft black brushed finish.

love it overall, freezer needs more shelves and would be nice if it held more ice. delivery guys from best buy pulled logo off when they took off plastic, nobody will accept ressponsability and a new one is $35. freezer shelves are about $75. each. My 25 year old roper held twice as much ice and made it faster.

Nice unit, I bought it for it's size/footprint to fit in the kitchen without sticking way out. It fits excellent but the room inside is a little smaller than I expected. Over all I love it.

The refrigerator is great, very large door dispenser to fill our large water bottles. The refrigerator runs and is a little louder than I expected so waiting to see if that changes. I am very pleased with the choice.

We had a Samsung that just did not work properly most of the time. We have a small kitchen and decided to get this counter depth Whirlpool. So far we really are happy with it! It dispenses ice well! It does not take up too much space in the kitchen. We have had it only a couple of weeks and are thrilled with it.

Only owned it about a week but so far it's great. I like that it's wide but not too deep so everything is easy to reach and nothing gets lost in the back of fridge. Love the ice and water and the sleek look of it. I like the big sturdy door shelves that I can fit my gallon jugs and also two liters of soda in. The shelves and drawers are nice and feel sturdier then ones I've had in the past. I hope I get a lot of years out of this fridge but so far so food!

So, I'd had my Kenmore fridge for almost 23 years before it gave out and I was looking for a similar experience. I figured I would try the maker of the Kenmore brand, Whirlpool. So far I'm happy with everything. It fits perfectly in the space and I wanted the ice in the door. I can easily get ice from the pull down container from the inside. The refrigerator section has plenty of space as well as the freezer section. One thing. I opted to buy 2 shelves for the freezer after delivery. Don't know what that's about.

Bought this fridge from NFM less than 3 years ago. Ice maker is door is a BAD IDEA, it stopped producing ice. Have an extended warranty thru Assurant, they send Contractor to fix. The wires at the bottom on the door were frayed, they replaced the door and it's never worked right since. NOW, we're on our 4th service call, the fridge portion stopped cooling & the freezer's back wall is iced over. NOW we have leave it off for 48 hours and let it defrost. We've lot a whole lot of food over this and we are NOT HAPPY with this product. Don't waste your money on an extended warranty thru Assurant. It's bull that it says: "If we can't fix it, we'll replace it." NOT TRUE, the Contractor verified today that they never replace. I'll never buy another Whirlpool fridge and NEVER one with ice in the door again!

Bought this refrigerator in February 2019. The only negatives for me are the bottom bin in the refrigerator is not full depth and the protective film could be easier to take off. Had to spend a lot of time picking the film out of the door edges.

Now that I have owned this refrigerator for 9 months, I feel qualified to submit an unbiased review. There are definite pros and cons about this refrigerator. I like the exterior stainless black fingerprint-resistant finish, although there is a slight brownish hue when exposed to direct sunlight. The fact that it is a "counter-depth" model makes my kitchen appear somewhat larger - which is a good thing - but at the expense of reduced space inside the refrigerator. There is noticeably less interior space in this unit versus the GE Profile refrigerator it replaced, particularly on the freezer side. On the positive side, the interior of this unit is well lighted (bright LED lights) and it holds a steady temperature on both sides. I have no complaints about appearance, lighting, temperature control, or ease of changing the water filter. However, I have come to realize that I really miss the larger interior space of the old GE, particularly on the freezer side. It's my fault for not buying a larger fridge to better satisfy my needs. The icemaker on this unit works well, although it's very noisy when cubes are made and fall into the bin. Which leads me to another negative about this refrigerator: the frequent noises. There are 4 different type of noises produced by this refrigerator, some of which are loud and all of which are irritating. My old GE was very quiet compared to this Whirlpool. The electronic controls located on the freezer door are somewhat confusing, and the instruction manual that came with this unit was evidently written for a previous model since the controls on my refrigerator do not match those in the manual. I had to figure out how some of the controls work on my own. Some of the controls are useful, others are not. I have two other complaints about this refrigerator: (1) The water dispensed from the dispenser on the outside of the freezer door is not cold - it's more like room temperature. On my previous GE Profile refrigerator, the water dispensed was always ice cold. Now, if I want a glass of filtered water, I have to add ice to the water since I don't like drinking lukewarm water. (2) The freezer side is not only small, but it needs at least one more glass shelf - which are ridiculously expensive if you order one from Whirlpool or other online sellers. Would I buy this refrigerator again? No, I would not. I would opt for a larger side-by-side unit, but probably not another Whirlpool. I like my Whirlpool dishwasher, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this particular Whirlpool refrigerator.

It is a cheap built refrigerator. The black stainless is just a paint coat. The shelves are disorganized, especially the freezer. I don't know why the engineers had to design the internal fan to be running so much most of the time. And that is annoying sound when sitting in the kitchen and it is quite all around. There is no covers to cover the screw holes in the handles. The door hinges seem so unprofessionally designed. If I had a choice to return it I would certainly do it. But I bought it from Lowe's and I got the delivery one day before my 30 day return option ended. . Basically Lowe's said the 30 day return starts the day I purchase the item.

I bought this fridge couple weeks ago, once in place and plugged in i couldn't believe how loud it is when running. the fridge it replaced was 13 years old and couldn't even tell when it was running. I figured with technology i'm sure they could come up with a quieter motor/compressor. Very disappointed.

Only had it a couple of weeks, but so far my wife is very pleased. Her only complaint was she wanted shelves for the two open positions in the freezer. What the 3rd party suppliers charge for them is close to criminal. Whirlpool should offer them as an option at a reasonable price.

I bought this a few weeks ago and very happy overall with the performance of the refrigerator. Set-up was wonderful and easy. Only thing I have experienced was you must press hard on the panels to get water and ice. The refrigerator does move a little when you open the doors. Must be move back towards the wall.

I love that it is countered depth and it has the measured fill feature. My last refrigerator was a whirlpool and I had it for 10 years. The only thing I miss on this refrigerator is it does not have the swivel depensing feature for water.

I have had this fridge for a few weeks now and it blows me away every time I open it. The space is amazing. Feels like twice the space of my old non counter depth fridge.
